There are many Spanish solicitors that speak fluent English in and around this area that will be able to assist you with all of the necessities that you will require when choosing to relocate to Southern Spain. You will need at an early stage to apply for your NIE number which is required by law to purchase a property here in Spain, also you will require a Empadronamiento, this is where you will need to go to the main town hall and register yourself as residents in the area. We understand that an important item to accompany your new home is normally a Swimming pool for yourself, friends and family to enjoy throughout the year. Swimming is a wonderful form of exercise for all ages and is particularly recommended for strengthening the heart and lung fitness, joint suppleness and muscle power. For most clients this will be the first time you have been responsible for a swimming pool and ensuring the ph and chlorine levels in the water are correct and safe for use is very important. Your swimming pool is an investment that needs to be cared for correctly. For this we recommend you use a qualified company to care for this, again we have a team that work for our company who can either carry out this task for you for a small amount per month or provide you with adequate training so you will be able to carry out the task yourselves.

Mortgages are available upon request for our luxury villas ( normally up to 70%) and  work in a similar manner to the united kingdom, all mortgages are subject to status, however we are able to refer you to an English speaking mortgage broker in the area who will be able to supply you with all of the necessary information you will require in order to carry out your purchase efficiently and correctly.

Airports

You are really spoilt for choice in this area as there are four airports (Almeria, Alicante, Murcia & Granada) all within two hours drive of our unique developments. The closest airport is Almeria which is less than one hours drive south east of Albox. These airports are also very convenient as they have local car hire companies located internally within the airport allowing your friends and family to collect their hire car, exit the airport and be with you within the hour.

Hospitals

The main principle town of Albox has a 24 hour accident and emergency hospital and also a medical centre during the day, ensuring that local medical attention is always available should you need it. Huercal Overa´s main hospital is based just 20 minutes drive from the main town of Albox and is one of the most modern Hospitals in this area of Southern Spain.

Pharmacies

There are many pharmacies within the town of Albox where you will be able to receive your prescriptions, purchase tablets etc.

There are excellent opticians here within the town.

Supermarkets

Albox has all of the major Spanish supermarkets here, including the mercadona, dia etc. There are also many English food outlets where you will be able to purchase, freshly baked French sticks, pg tips, gravy granules, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salad cream and all of the main brand names from Heinz to walkers etc.

Hairdressers

There are several qualified English hairdressers in the area for both males and females where you can go and have anything from cutting and styling, colouring, perms, nail treatment, facial treatment mini massages and waxing etc.
